Bioinformatics Box is a website devoted to offering bioinformatics knowledge and tools to researchers or anybody interested in the exciting field of bioinformatics. Owned, developed, and designed by Jared Evans, a Bioinformatics Programmer and Researcher, this site is a collection of tools and knowledge he has obtained in his school and work experience. Bioinformatics Box is a place that researchers can come and collaborate on projects, receive answers to their questions, find great explanations of many common computational tools, and even use common software tools for free or download. This is a dynamic site where new bioinformatics tools and knowledge will constantly be added and updated. About the Owner/Developer

Jared Evans is an avid programmer who loves biology. He holds a Bachelors degree in bioinformatics from Brigham Young University and is currently a Masters student studying bioinformatics at Indiana University. He has years of experience as a web developer and has developed software in many different programming languages. When not in front of his computer, some of his favorite hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and caving.
